Book Recommendation
I would recommend teens to read The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian. I don’t really think it is very age appropriate for some of the younger kids to read though. Teens would enjoy this comedy story of a kid named Junior and his life on the reservation. The plot of the story is very good and the humor in the story kept me reading. Also the stories of Junior’s life and some of the situations he went through were interesting to read about. In the story Junior goes through many situations that normal teens like us go through. For instance when he finds the girl Penelope, and Rowdy and him get into many fights over their friendship.
I also recommend reading this book because it talks about the Reservation that Junior and his family live on. When living on the Reservation there family and many other families are very poor, and kids love to play basketball. I recommend this book to teens because it is a really good and humorous story of a teen named Junior. We can connect to many of the situations; also it is an easy read. Teens need to read The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian.
